In connection with this year's steam meeting, you can purchase a joint ticket that gives you access to the steam meeting and a ride on the vintage train on the Maribo–Bandholm Museum Railway. 

At the open-air museum you can experience the childhood of technology up close. The machines are noisy, steamy and exciting, and their passionate owners are happy to talk about the work of keeping the historic machines running. 

On the trip with the Museum Railway, you will feel the atmosphere of the old veteran train as the landscape rolls by, and during your stay at the old Bandholm station you will experience a railway environment from the year 1920.

Here too, the staff is happy to tell you how the train is kept running. 

The train will run twice on Saturday, May 30th from Maribo station at 10:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. The ticket is valid for a return trip on the same day, and you are free to choose which departure you want to take.

The tour lasts approximately 1 1/2 hours. The ticket gives access to the steam meeting on either Saturday or Sunday.

The train departs on May 30, 2026 from Maribo Station track 2.
Departure: Maribo 10.15 and arrival Maribo 11.45
Departure Maribo 14.15 and arrival Maribo 15.45 

The old houses: 

Steam meeting will be held on May 30 & 31, 2026, between 10:00 and 16:00.
