A little elf traveled by steam train from Maribo to Bandholm. There he met a lot of Christmassy children and adults – and he also met Santa Claus.

The train was beautifully decorated and drove past farms, fields and through the forest on the way to Bandholm.

 

Bandholm station was also decorated for Christmas – the elves had moved into the stationmaster's house. The kind railway workers had made sure that there were cakes, mulled wine and cocoa for those who came by train – there were even bags of sweets.

 

What meant the most to the elf was talking to Santa Claus, who is otherwise very busy in December. There were also some of those who were on the train who bought some Christmas presents – they did this in the waiting room in Bandholm.
