Book a private special train
In the 2025 operating season, if regular traffic permits, it is possible to order transportation at times and days other than those mentioned in the calendar.
Write to us on the form at the bottom of the page and we will find out if your wish can be fulfilled and plan your special train with a timetable and accommodation that suits your event.
Special trains must be booked as early as possible and no later than 15 days in advance.
The price for special trains in 2025 including up to 50 adults starts at:
DKK 8,400 for train with steam locomotive Maribo-Bandholm and return
DKK 6,900 for train with motor locomotive Maribo-Bandholm and return
A surcharge applies if there are more than 50 travelers.
For an additional fee, an excursion car with tables can be coupled to the special train. Museumsbanen can also provide table service.
Special trains must be booked at least 15 days in advance. It is recommended to book well in advance.
Without food and drink....
You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks on the train, but several of the area's restaurateurs are happy to deliver everything from food baskets to party dinners.
