Welcome to the Maribo-Bandholm Museum Railway
We are working to recreate a time when people sat on wooden benches on the train, where the stationmaster was one of the leaders of society and the train driver was the idol of many children.
With us you not only get a journey through the beautiful Lolland landscape, but also a nostalgic journey back to the time around 1920.
Generations can come together in a shared experience of what it was like to travel in the old days.
The museum railway is run by a group of volunteer enthusiasts for whom maintaining the operation of the vintage railway on the stretch between Maribo and Bandholm is a passion.

Come and have a very special experience on the first driving day of the year.
The veteran trio sings and plays evergreens from the 1930s onwards – just as we heard it in Giro 413. It takes place in the Museumsbanen excursion car.
You can listen and have the opportunity to sing along as the train slowly moves forward through the Lolland landscape.
The ticket is valid for the train ride and a half-hour matinee. Bubbles and chips will be served along the way.
The price for this event is 190 DKK and tickets can only be purchased here on the website.

Two steam locomotives in a train, that's a bit of a rarity...
Soon the Museum Railway's little café wagon will be rolling again...
The Museum Railway's small excursion car, Uc2 among friends, will again be transformed into a rolling café this year.
It will be pulled out of the darkness of the wagon hall on the 5th-7th and coupled to the last steam train of the day to Bandholm.
Our creative and quality-conscious "cake lady" will provide delicious treats for your coffee and a cozy nostalgic atmosphere on the trip through the Lolland landscape.
If you feel tempted by this, mark your calendar for 5-7-26 at 3:15 PM.
The ticket price for the event is 175 DKK for adults and 155 DKK for children.
Since the café trailer is small, a limited number of tickets are offered, which can only be purchased here on the website.
