Welcome to the Maribo-Bandholm Museum Railway
We are working to recreate a time when people sat on wooden benches on the train, where the stationmaster was one of the leaders of society and the train driver was the idol of many children.
With us you not only get a journey through the beautiful Lolland landscape, but also a nostalgic journey back to the time around 1920.
Generations can come together in a shared experience of what it was like to travel in the old days.
The museum railway is run by a group of volunteer enthusiasts for whom maintaining the operation of the vintage railway on the stretch between Maribo and Bandholm is a passion.

When the lights come on...
Museumsbanen runs its now traditional Twilight Train….
Hop on the train and feel the very special atmosphere on the train and at the station when the lamps and lanterns are lit.
The train departs this year on October 15 at 6:45 p.m.

Halloween is quickly approaching and Museumsbanen is once again running a cozy and perhaps a little spooky Halloween train.
The train and Bandholm station are populated with many strange creatures today. But don't worry, they usually don't do anything...
The train runs this year on October 16 at 4:20 PM.

Autumn train on the Museum Line
The Museum Railway will run 3 steam trains on October 15th and two motor trains on October 21st.
The train ride goes through the beautiful autumn landscape and provides ample opportunity for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
